The Friends of St Mary's

Our Purpose

Membership is open to everyone, both visitor and resident, and the Friends aim “to maintain and improve the fabric of this ancient church and to make the building more accessible and welcoming to visitors". Monies raised by the Friends, through membership, donations and fund-raising are explicitly for these purposes and are administered and controlled separately from Church funds by the Friends’ own committee.

Membership of the Friends of St Mary’s includes an automatic invitation to attend the Annual Meeting and the social and fundraising events held each year. But most importantly, it enables Friends to know that they are contributing to the maintenance of this beautiful and significant piece of Oxfordshire's history.
